Time Rondo Watch
To pay homage to our night companion, Henri d'Origny's works are designed in black to show the essence of time, which is both interesting and poetic. Limited edition of 300 pieces.
The Arceau watch was designed by its founder Henri d'Origny in 1978. It features a circular case with asymmetric fasteners, making it unique in the contemporary watchmaking industry and a model of artistic expression. This late autumn, Herm è s dressed it from head to toe in black, shining with the night light and Pegasus constellation. Pegasus constellation is a famous Pegasus silhouette in Greek mythology: Ronde des Heures. This new watch is limited to 300 pieces.
Deep as night, the stainless steel case has a diameter of 36 millimeters and is waterproof to a depth of 30 meters. It is coated with a glossy black PVD coating and has 66 spinel embedded on the bezel. On the dial adorned with sun patterns, the moon appears between 9am and 12pm, revealing a crescent moon that is breathtakingly beautiful. This natural satellite of the Earth is accompanied by stars, all of which are embedded in white mother of pearl and coated with luminous paint. Like a game of light and shadow, the hour numbers shine in a completely unique style on a rotating matte black ring. The minute is indicated by a long rod-shaped rhodium plated pointer. These original displays are made from Swiss quartz movements.
