The all-new collection of Traska Watches
Raska is a passionate project initiated by Jon Mack, who launched Freediver on Kickstarter using a desperate fundraising approach. The event raised all the funds within a few hours, more than twice the initial target. The company officially launched on April 17, 2018, and the second model, Sumiteer, quickly gained momentum, raising over $100000 in just 12 hours. Six years later, the watch community still plays a crucial role in Traska's success, and the brand places great emphasis on connecting with its supporters. Every journey involves a series of small decisions. They have a deep understanding of this concept. Every time a new series is launched, they evaluate the direction, assess the situation, and make necessary adjustments - some subtle, some significant - before moving forward.
The watch industry often uses terms such as "eagerly anticipated" and "long-awaited", but there are few words as appropriate as the upgraded version of the latest Traska series. Venturer is a GMT model designed specifically for travelers, which returned in September after more than eight months of development. Other models will also be launched soon, updated, refined, and even better than before. Traska returns with an updated series, introducing beloved models in new colors and improved fit with smaller tolerances.
Traska's first wristwatch is a fully functional diving watch with a waterproof depth of up to 200 meters. It is equipped with a screw in crown and a 120 turn unidirectional bezel, and features luminescent ceramic inserts. The all-new Freediver (Ref. 1186) includes a redesigned bezel that features ceramic ball bearings for an extraordinary tactile experience. In addition, it has stricter end tolerance and delicate pointers with chamfered edges.
The mountaineer
The boxed sapphire crystal mirror of Traska's second watch imitates the organic glass mirror of Sumiteer's original watch, reflecting light to create an indescribable warmth. The end links of the new watches (Ref. 6223 and Ref. 2195, available in 36mm and 38mm sizes) have been redesigned with improved tolerances, featuring a completely separate crown and new color options.
Commuters
Traska's third wristwatch is a model of minimalism. This Commuter watch features Traska's iconic hardening process and sapphire crystal, making it the perfect choice for any occasion. The hour and minute hands of the new watches (Ref. 3204 and Ref. 8232, available in two sizes of 36mm and 38mm) are meticulously crafted by hand with a center brushed finish, showcasing elegance and refinement. In addition, the end chain of this watch has a smaller tolerance and adopts a newly designed decoupling crown mechanism.
Seaman
The design inspiration for the third generation Seaman series (Ref. 5223) comes from the double crown design of the super compression diving watch in the 1960s, using an internal rotating bezel operated by a second crown located at the two o'clock position. It features a refreshed appearance, improved tolerances, more refined finishes, and two screw in crowns with decoupling mechanisms, marking a new era for this watch.
