Starlight Chorus - Hermes Watch
Fable characters evoke the inevitable nature of time passing and fleeting existence. These symbolic versions are a wonderful reminder of this.
The Chorus Stellarum scarf pattern designed by Daiske Nomura for Herm è s is vividly presented in two limited editions of Arceau Chorus Stellarum, each with six limited editions. This Japanese artist's imagined world of robots and dragons transforms the cherished theme of this Parisian brand into a futuristic world. Therefore, depending on the version, the skeleton of a male or female knight riding on a noble horse will appear on the dial. These characters are carved from 2N gold and hand drawn, and can be vividly presented by pressing the built-in button on the watch body located at the 9 o'clock position.
These wonderful Gothic vanity images showcase the passage of time in constellation decorations, which are completed using exquisite enamel filling techniques and embellished with lacquerware. These colorful patterns are embedded in the iconic case, which was designed by Henri d'Origny in 1978 and is made of 750 white gold with a diameter of 41 millimeters.
The "on-demand pulse" animation is driven by the H1837 movement. Although requiring a certain amount of energy, the hour and minute hands have a 50 hour power reserve provided by an automatic winding movement. To create a perfect sense of harmony, the Arceau Chorus Stellarum watch comes with a matte deep blue crocodile leather strap. The feminine variation with soft colors is accompanied by a bezel set with 70 diamonds and a pearl grey strap. This stunning watch maintains elegance in any situation.
