Two Portuguese chronographs from IWC, one featuring a horizon blue dial (model IW371626) and the other featuring a sand dune colored dial (model IW371624), each paired with a 41mm case made of white gold and steel, powered by an automatic winding 69355 movement (with a 46 hour power reserve). The minute timers of these two new products are located at the 12 o'clock position, forming a visual vertical axis together with the small second hand. The slender direct drive device ticks on the quarter second scale around the flange. This sporty and exquisite layout brought life to another proposal. The model IW371625 combines an obsidian dial with a red gold case, injecting life into harmonious contrasting scenes.
The production of each dial requires a rigorous process of over 60 steps. Firstly, the brass base is treated with a sunrise pattern finish, and then coated with the corresponding color. Next, 15 layers of transparent paint are applied, finely ground, and polished to a high gloss. The accumulator is milled into the brass base and paint layer. Printing through special processes further increases the three-dimensional effect. The stickers are manually installed separately, "the manufacturing process details this.
