The vermilion color tone is often associated with passionate love, and Breguet chose this vivid and profound color tone to spread some notes on its Reine de Naples 8925 watch. This most elegant women's wrist watch is limited to only 28 pieces, inspired by the special relationship between Caroline Murat (1782-1839) and her watchmaker Abraham Louis Breguet (1747-1823), who made her first watch between 1810 and 1812, not only celebrating this pure, noble, and uplifting emotion on Valentine's Day, but also conveying eternal emotional messages 365 days a year.
A delicate ring of 66 rubies is embedded along the flange, elegantly surrounding an oval transparent dial made of natural white mother of pearl, with a row of black painted Breguet numbers behind the circular outline. There is a dark dashed line around the 6 o'clock off center position, and a small crimson heart shape is placed every five minutes with a pair of Breguet style hands on top. Their short red painted hands end in a hollowed out "apple" with a pointed tip indicating hours and minutes.
Oval shaped platinum case with grooves on the sides, measuring 33 × 24.95 millimeters and 8.5 millimeters thick. 73 diamonds adorn the bezel like a sparkling ribbon, arranged on a spherical accessory, while a convex round ruby adorns the crown at the 4 o'clock position. This precious case houses the 586/1 movement, an automatic movement with a silicon balance spring that is essential for precision and durability. It beats gently at a frequency of 3hz and provides 38 hours of power reserve. This unique Reine de Naples 8925 watch is worn on the wrist, thanks to two coral red crocodile skins connected by a clasp with 28 diamonds.
