It is not an exaggeration to say that Louis Vuitton has increased its presence in the watchmaking industry in 2023. After a shrewd upgrade to its Tambour model, this brand with its famous letter combination stood out with an unprecedented series launched in collaboration with independent participants.
The first collaboration showcased the talent of Rexhep Rexhepi. The founder of Akrivia Studio, born in Kosovo, integrated his professional knowledge into LVRR-001 Chronographe à Sonnerie. This watch features a precision astronomical movement and a tourbillon adjustment device, making it truly unique. This complex mechanism is assembled from approximately 391 components and possesses astonishing complexity in functionality.
To appreciate the functionality of the high-performance manual winding movement (72 hour power reserve), the smoked sapphire crystal dial allows you to enjoy the leisurely rotation of the tourbillon set at the 6 o'clock position every 5 minutes. To trigger a short cycle time measurement of up to 60 minutes through the button at the 2 o'clock position, the elegant 39.9mm diameter platinum case back presents a slightly different scene. The white enamel dial is decorated with two scales, one in red and the other in blue. The bell rings once every minute.
