Louis Erard has a deep pursuit of producing high-quality watches, and his perfectionism has instantly made his company famous among peers. Since 1945, his descendants have successively joined the company, bringing a new scene to the company. Louis Erard and his descendants established a new dynasty for the brand during a peaceful transition period. In 1956, Louis Erard was allowed to shift the operational mode from completing and assembling watch components to producing movements. At that time, purchasing substrates for producing movements required obtaining a production license. With this advantage, Louis Erard was able to produce movements engraved with its own logo.
Later, Louis Erard's physical condition gradually deteriorated. Under his guidance, his sons Rene and Jean followed the path laid out for them by Louis Erard, continuing to provide assembly services for other brands while marketing their self-produced watch series. In 1962, Louis Erard's company successfully acquired a revolutionary and efficient production line.
