Sothis "(Sirius) is a German brand founded by Wolfgang Steinkr ü ger in 1996. Wolfgang Steinkr ü ger was originally engaged in advertising and product design business. Due to his love for collecting watches, he began to try making his own watches and received good feedback from the outside world, so he turned to the watchmaking industry. So he established a factory in Bielefeld, Germany and began designing and producing his own components (except for the movement), and the company's name was changed to Sothis Germany.

 

SOTHIS - In ancient Egyptian mythology, it was the incarnation of Sirius in the twelve zodiac signs. This star is not only the brightest star in the northern hemisphere sky, but according to the Egyptian calendar, it is also the key to determining the start of a new year. As early as 1996, SOTHIS designed a moon phase watch, and the modular movement exclusively produced by Sothis in the "SPIRIT OF MOON" series of moon phase or "center" models laid the foundation for Sothis's success. The high level of production quality combined with unique design quickly made Sothis watches one of the coveted collectibles for watch enthusiasts.
