A symphony orchestra cannot do without talented musicians and a strict conductor who can lead them to perfection. Since October 24, 1994, Lange launched Lange 1, marking the official beginning of brand revival. Since then, Lang has been playing this role, setting a benchmark for the high-end watchmaking industry by utilizing a series of mechanical functions.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary, this German company has launched multiple limited edition watches this year. One of them is the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar "25th Anniversary" with a pure silver dial. Like the original watch from 2012, the time information (blue in this watch) is also displayed off center. This unique layout ensures optimal readability and is equipped with a large date display, which is a mechanical and stylistic signature feature of the manufacturer. It can also conveniently display the month on the rotating outer ring of the dial and show the week at the 10 o'clock position through a reverse jump marker. The small window at the 6 o'clock position can provide leap year information. The moon phase display is located at the 7 o'clock position with an accuracy of 122.6 years.
This layout is cleverly controlled by the L08.01 movement (with a 50 hour power reserve). This complex automatic winding movement consists of 624 parts and uniquely integrates a tourbillon, which can be seen through the sapphire back of the 41.9mm platinum case. Flipping the watch, the wearer can still see the swinging gold rotor.
