Ferdinand Berthoud took us to distant destinations with the FB 1.3 model, and the nautical astronomical clock set the pace for long-distance travel. With this new version FB1.3-1 sapphire blue, the journey continues in exquisite aesthetic harmony. The semi transparent blue dial is treated with vertical satin, highlighting the platinum and gray ceramic tones of the 44mm case and lugs. Time information is clearly displayed in an environment with a Nanyang color. Hours and minutes can be read on the bias disk at the 12 o'clock position. The precise power reserve indicator (53 hours when the watch is fully wound) indicates the status at the 9 o'clock position.
The entire movement is controlled by the FB-T.FC-2 movement. This manually wound movement is controlled by a second tourbillon and features a constant power mechanism that ensures a highly uniform and stable distribution of available energy. This precise structure can be observed through the portholes and sapphire crystal bottom cover on the fuselage. This structure has 15 bridge plates and 3 half bridge plates, which are hand precision machined and meet the requirements of traditional watchmaking industry. Its timing accuracy has been certified by COSC.
