In the pursuit of ultimate precision, Zhenlishi continuously provides intelligent alternative solutions. The latest Defy El Primero Double Tourbillon watch to date features a 46mm case. On the dial, a complex mechanical structure equipped with two independent tourbillons and two timing discs can be seen. This layout gives it an open and futuristic appearance, just like other models in the Def y series.
In addition, adjusting the movement also plays an important role in the operation of the watch. The movement at the 10 o'clock position is combined with a timer to measure and display one hundredth of a second. This tourbillon operates at a frequency of 50 Hz (360000 vibrations per hour) and its frame rotates once every 5 seconds, making it the fastest tourbillon in the world. It drives the central second hand at an astonishing speed of sweeping the dial once per second. The second tourbillon is located at the 8 o'clock position, adjusted at a frequency of 5 Hz, and its frame rotates once per minute. Its function is to adjust the time information of the clock.
The El Primero 9020 movement and its two unique escapement mechanisms are driven by two barrels, providing 60 hours of power reserve for the hour and minute hands. The indicator at the 12 o'clock position allows you to check the available power reserve (within 50 minutes) for measuring short or long periods of time. The precision timer of this movement has also been certified by the independent organization TimeLab.
