Despite the prevailing trend in the watchmaking industry at the time favoring decorative elements - sometimes even exaggerated - the watches of Abraham Louis Breguet (1747-1823) stood out due to their relentless pursuit of mechanical devices and emphasis on technology and practicality. He got rid of all the unnecessary decorations on the case and dial, and focused on the most essential thing: time. His method gave birth to the unique design approach of Breguet watchmakers, and the Breguet brand still retains this method to this day. Undoubtedly, the Classique series is one of the representatives of minimalist style, especially the new Classique 5177 Grand Feu Blue Enamel model. Compared to its predecessors, its style is slightly rebellious, respecting the brand's visual characteristics while also creating its own style.
