After setting a brief Light&Time piece at 2583 meters in Zermatt to celebrate his partnership with Hublot in 2023, Daniel Arthem applied his design talent to the watchmaking factory and launched an incredible wristwatch. The Arsham Droplet case (7.32 x 5,26 x 2.22 cm) features a stunning streamlined shape that sets it apart.
Its micro sandblasted M3 titanium case, rubber protective device, and ubiquitous arched sapphire crystal mirror inject life into the spectacular pioneering sculpture wrapped in metal rings. These circles placed side by side are reminiscent of bubbles captured in aqueous media. In order to achieve perfect waterproofing up to 30 meters deep, this unparalleled exclusive piece cleverly features 17 O-rings.
The hands and hour markers on the dial are in Daniel Arsham's favorite white and copper green tones, dominating the semi transparent background. Only the high-performance manually wound Meca-10 movement (with 240 hours of power reserve) can reveal the internal workings of its structure. The Arsham Droplet comes with two interchangeable titanium metal chains that can be worn as a pocket watch or pendant. The titanium metal bracket is equipped with a mineral glass magnifying glass, which can turn the work into a clock. Through this limited edition series, Hublot reminds us that there is absolutely no boundary between fusion art and general art.
