The Japanese version of Jason Lupin in the soap opera manga "Lupin III" tells the myth of a French gentleman robber in 1967 under the pen name Monkey Punch (1937-2019). The animated series that began airing in 1971 brought this fictional character to international audiences. In the first episode of "Lupin III", Lupin's partner, Dimension Daisuke, wears a True Power Time watch. As the watch model does not exist, the watchmaking factory has decided to bring it to life in the form of a limited edition of 50 pieces, called the A384 Revival Lupin III edition, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the birth of the El Primero movement. It is housed in a special case with a counter box adorned with mosaic images of the series.
The design inspiration for this chronograph comes from the 1969 A384 prototype model, featuring a steel case with a diameter of 37 millimeters and piston shaped buttons. The matte black dial contrasts sharply with the 30 minute and 12 hour counters (used for measuring short periods of time) and the small second hand counter at the 9 o'clock position, all of which are in mouse gray. Super-LumiNova ® The cream coating makes the golden pointer and time mark more prominent.
